Sous Chef – Term Time only

I am seeking a sous chef for a term time only vacancy, this sous chef will work with in a nice brigade supporting the head chef. Due to the nature of the location you will work a 46 week year. This is a very prestigious school you will cater for the students and staff. This rota is based on a shift pattern including early shifts starting at 6:00am and late shifts finishing at 7:30pm. You will work with the Head chef and client to create menus for the customer needs. This is a busy kitchen but can give someone the opportunity to get in to contract catering with school holidays off which is a real bonus.

  • You will cater for Breakfast, lunch and dinner service
  • working week straight shifts which include early 6am starts and latest finish 7:30pm 
  • 46 week a year 
  • 5 out 7 – 40 hour per week
  • Paid over time for for events and hospitality 
  • DBS check is required 
  • Ideally you need your own vehicle
  • For public transport there is a shuttle bus from Richmond Station 
  • You will ideally have some education catering experience but its not essential
