Sous chef – Monday to Friday

I am seeking a Sous chef to over see a nice new cafe within a corporate site in the heart of London, this cafe was launched in May catering for breakfast and lunch service. This will include around 80 covers fro lunch, you will work with a CDP and a pastry chef to head up the cafe. This sous chef will ideally have some retail experience and be happy to run service with a small team. This cafe will cater for the employees on a daily bases. this sous chef will require a out going personality to be able to interact with the customers when required.

This opportunity will really give this sous chef the opportunity to make this cafe there own, and make sure its the heart of the site where customers can chat, eat and relax during there busy day.

  • Cooking for Breakfast & lunch with around 80 covers for lunch 
  • Monday to Friday with some overtime in evenings and weekends which is paid for hospitality 
  • Need to be organized and pro-active to want to do a great job
  • Menus rotate 
  • Happy to cook centralised menus which will save time on food safety and costings
  • Have the opportunity to create specials menus throughout the year.
  • Ideal to get in to contract catering
