As a Temporary Corporate Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. Your role will be key in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk, and responsibilities will vary depending on your experience level. Whether you’re answering phone calls or handling administrative tasks, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining an efficient, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct visitors and guests with a professional, friendly approach.
  • Manage phone calls and emails, ensuring they are properly directed or handled promptly.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is organized, clean, and welcoming.
  • Assist with temporary projects or tasks across departments as needed.

Requirements:

For Junior Receptionists:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Basic knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, etc.).

For Senior Receptionists:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role, ideally in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of attention to detail.

For Receptionist Supervisor:

  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate receptionist role.
  • Proficiency in office software, phone systems.
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Experience supporting senior staff and handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to mentor junior receptionists and provide leadership when necessary.
