HEAD CHEF – NEW CANTONESE OPENING | LONDON Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 Start Date: ASAP Opening: Mid-July 2025 Location: Central London Cuisine: Modern Cantonese | Casual Fine Dining Schedule: 48 hrs/week (2 doubles, 3 singles) | Closed Sundays & Mondays Sponsorship Available
We’re recruiting on behalf of a Michelin-starred chef launching a new Cantonese concept in London. This is a key leadership role offering creative input from pre-opening through to launch and beyond.
Key Details:
68-cover site with open terrace dining
Brand new open kitchen and PDR (15–20 guests)
Casual, personable service style
Lunch and dinner service – restaurant closes at 10.30pm
Hands-on role with creative autonomy alongside chef-owner
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in high-end Asian or Cantonese kitchens
Strong leadership in premium, fast-paced environments
Passion for modern Chinese cuisine and innovation
Comfortable leading a team and driving kitchen culture
We are looking for a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with a strong background in fine dining, 5 star -star hotels, or members club experience. Someone that is keen to run a new project, manage a small team of 8 chefs and that has passion for Chinese/Cantonese cuisine. Expertise in this cuisine is not required but is preferred.
