Berkeley Scott Recruitment are current recruiting for Catering Assistants for various school contracts across Liverpool.

Our School Catering Assistants typically work Monday – Friday, term time only between 10am – 2pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of hot and cold food items
• Handle cash and manage basic administrative tasks
• Help clear and close the unit at the end of each shift
• Assist with special events, buffets, and conferences as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Enhanced DBS Required or willing to obtain.
• Previous experience in a catering or food service role
• Cash handling experience
• Food Safety Qualification (or willingness to complete the qualification)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes challenging environment
• Team player with the initiative to work independently
• Driver (preferred but not essential)
• Takes pride in delivering excellent service
