Our menu is rooted in tradition and thoughtfully reimagined for the modern diner, with a strong focus on fresh, seasonal produce. From fragrant broths to nourishing bowls and delicately balanced plates, every dish honours the comfort, warmth, and balance of Cantonese family meals. As Assistant General Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to bring this exciting concept to life. You’ll help to build and nurture a passionate front-of-house team, create a welcoming and efficient environment, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations from day one. The Role:
As Assistant General Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to bring this exciting restaurant to life. You’ll help to build and nurture a passionate front-of-house team, create a welcoming and efficient environment, and ensure the smooth running of daily operations from day one. What You’ll Do:

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant

• Help recruit, train, and inspire a front-of-house team that values warmth, care, and precision

• Set the tone for excellent service and a positive team culture

• Ensure operational efficiency and uphold brand and service standards

• Champion guest satisfaction through every interaction

• Work in sync with the kitchen and leadership team to deliver consistency and quality

• Oversee rotas, stock control, and financial processes

• Bring professionalism, positivity, and leadership to every shift

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Assistant GM or senior front-of-house leader in a fast-paced, high-quality restaurant

• A strong understanding of what it takes to deliver outstanding service and operations including events

• A hands-on leadership approach and calm, solution-focused mindset

• Passion for food — especially Chinese or Cantonese cuisine — and a respect for quality, seasonal ingredients

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

• A genuine desire to contribute to a culture built on care, collaboration, and excellence
