We are seeking a passionate and organised Assistant Events Operations Manager to help lead and inspire our Events & In-Room Dining team at one of the UK’s most iconic countryside retreats. Competitive salary: £36,000 + approx. £4,000 service charge annually

Position Overview
As Assistant Events Operations Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role supporting the Events & In-Room Dining Manager. From beautifully orchestrated weddings to seamless corporate retreats and elegant private dinners, you’ll be behind the scenes and front-of-house, ensuring exceptional execution across our entire estate. You’ll help train and lead a dedicated team, oversee logistics, deliver five-star service, and work collaboratively across departments to make every event unforgettable.
You’ve previously worked in events operations or luxury F&B service in Hotels or High end venues
A confident leader who leads from the front with a hands-on approach
Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and a natural problem-solver
Excellent communication skills with a guest-first mindset
Able to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
Passionate about creating memorable moments for guests in beautiful settings
Comfortable using event and POS software and managing basic admin & reporting
Someone who thrives in a collaborative, values-driven environment
