My client operates a high end property which houses a fine dining restaurant, offering creative menus using traditional and modern techniques. They are well known for providing seasonal and exciting menus- utilising a mixture of classical and modern dishes to provide a competitive offer. Their amazing site boasts different dining options throughout the day, each offering a range of seasonal flair, and being coherently running alongside each other.
Your New Job
The role requires autonomy of the kitchen- aiding the Head Chef in the running of the team. The ideal candidate should be able to balance functionality & performance to fully support the business and the running of the kitchen- working with the management team in developing all aspects of your area of the business. You will be highly motivated to provide a smooth and excellent dining operation- working closely with the operations team to ensure all areas of the customer experience are seamless. You will work to develop the menus to meet current trends whilst best suiting the business- providing insights and ideas to keep your kitchen running both profitably and creatively.
You should have proven experience in a restaurant background in a restaurant or hotel offering a fully fresh food menu. You should have experience of working towards GP targets and have a good knowledge of stock control. In addition, knowledge of rosette dining establishments would be an advantage. In addition to being an amazing chef, you should also be a successful manager- being able to confidently manage your team in the absence of the Head Chef.

You will work a 40-48 hours a week and this is a company that believes you should not work a large amount of additional hours! Your working week should be based around the needs of the business, and as such you will work a mixture of days and shifts.

Due to the rural location of this site, you would ideally need to be able to drive or have access to transport.
