Sous Chef required for a remarkable Café, Restaurant in Leek
My client are a well-known independent restaurant/Café/Deli in Leek and are currently seeking a Sous Chef to lead their team through an exciting stage of change.
This position will be day times only, working usually from 8am – 4pm 5 days a week. This is a very rare opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie looking for a step up or an experienced Sous Chef seeking more sociable hours.
The Café focuses on 100% fresh food with everything being created on site using local suppliers.
Your New role
As the Sous Chef you will run the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence, ensuring standards are upheld across the board. You will interact with customers ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded where possible. This is a 100% fresh food kitchen, so you will be producing everything from scratch.

A salary of £22,000 p/a is on offer, as well as a competitive benefits package and progression opportunities.
