Temporary Sous Pastry Chef – Glasgow (Ongoing Contract)

We’re looking for a Sous Pastry Chef to join a well-respected kitchen in Glasgow on an ongoing temporary contract. If you’ve got a passion for fresh, seasonal produce, enjoy making pastries and desserts from scratch, and are available to start right away, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:

• Running the pastry section, keeping standards high
• Preparing homemade cakes, scones, and desserts – no shortcuts here
• Working with the Head Chef to deliver quality dishes
• Keeping on top of stock and orders
• Making sure everything’s presented well and up to scratch
• Following food safety and hygiene guidelines

What’s on Offer:

• Ongoing temporary contract with full-time hours
• Mostly daytime shifts, with the occasional evening during busy times
• Immediate start available
• A chance to work with fresh ingredients in a well-run kitchen
• For the right person, this could lead to a permanent role
• Weekly pay through Berkeley Scott

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Pastry CDP or Sous Pastry Chef
• Confidence working in a busy, fresh food kitchen
• Good attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Available to start ASAP and commit to an ongoing role
