Group Director of Sales and Marketing – Dublin – can be UK based

  • Salary can be negotiated

  • You can be based in the UK or in Dublin but must be able to fly to Dublin regularly

As Group Director of Sales and Marketing for the company  youll develop and implement strategies to ensure commercial goals are achieved, sales and marketing strategies are set, management of social media sites and tactical plans are created and implemented, with results that monitored, reviewed,and achieved.

Reporting to:      Head of Operations Ireland and Company Director

Location:       ManagementOffice in Dublin & Visiting all hotel locations UK & Ireland   

 

Reports:  All hotel level  Sales  and Marketing teams to report into the Group Director of Sales and Marketing

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Website and Media Management

  • Management of the Company web site andtheaffiliate hotel websites, Instagram,and Twitter sites
  • Managing and directing of all Sales and Marketing platforms
  • Promote all Group activities through Websitesand media platforms.
  • Responsible for all PR and Media activities

Group Director of Sales and Marketing – Financial

  • Responsible for preparation of the annual Sales and Marketing budget and financial plans
  • Understand, leverage,and implement corporate andaffiliate brand tools to exceed budgets.
  • Achieve allpersonal/team sales goals and maximise profitability across all the hotels within the Group.
  • Create and implement sales and marketing plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates,and increase volume.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor  product  analysis to  ensure  proper rate  positioning  and  product  offering  relative  to  competition.
  • Support hotels with developing local  account  management plans to drive share and production.
  • Produce monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyse current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established commercial plan.
  • Recommend and implement new sales programs at the hotels and accurately track ROI with direction from GRM.
  • Create and develop special events and sales blitzes to showcase the hotels to potential clients. Attend trade shows and major market events locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales and marketing opportunities for the hotels in line with applicable  company  affiliate  Brand standards.

Guest Experience

  • Drive customer  loyalty  to  grow share of the accounts by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience
  • Schedule conventions and/or business group activities at the hotel and coordinate with other hotel-level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.
  • Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIPs, large groups, and other key guests.
  • Participate to sales initiatives such as client workshops, roadshows, trade missions, tradeshows as and when required.
  • Lead marketing efforts to up sell guests on hotel services, offerings,and amenities.

Responsible Business

  • Work closely with key business leaders, officials, and representatives of local community groups within the company hotel locationsto ensure constant high-profileexposure for the hotels.
  • Provide guidance for corporate negotiated accounts RFP season to Commercial Teams, with help from GRM and CRM when necessary.
  • Effectively communicate and market aspects of the hotels that are sustainable or green and use information to gain new business opportunities.
  • Hold influential personal relationships with all source market affiliate commercial Team members that are important for the hotels remit.
  • Raise the awareness and reputation of the hotels and the brands locally, occasionallyacting as hotel representative for media related  enquires.
