We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager to join a large, food and beverage–led venue in one of East London’s busiest locations. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a hands-on General Manager, supporting the day-to-day running of a vibrant, high-energy site while developing your leadership skills.

This role is perfect for someone who leads from the floor. You’ll be operationally strong, comfortable jumping into service during busy periods, and passionate about delivering excellent food and drink experiences while managing and developing a large team.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the General Manager with the overall running of a high-volume food and beverage operation

Being highly visible on the floor and leading service during peak trading periods

Overseeing stock control, ordering, and minimising wastage across the F&B operation

Supporting P&L management and driving strong financial performance

Leading, motivating, and developing a large front-of-house team

Managing performance and supporting disciplinary processes where required

Creating a positive, energetic culture where the team feel supported, engaged, and motivated

What we’re looking for:

A current Assistant Manager, or Manager ready to step into a new senior leadership role

Experience managing large teams in high-volume venues

Background in busy bars, pubs, or events venues with a strong food offering

Strong operational and organisational skills

A hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Someone passionate about great service, food & drink, and building high-performing teams

The Role:

Full-time – 45 hours per week

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within a high-volume, food and beverage–focused venue, with Events & clear progression and the potential to move into a General Manager role within one of the group’s sister sites.
