Despite the recent influx of several hospitality startups and concepts around the world, young hospitality students are most motivated to work in traditional hospitality upon graduation.
This was one the key findings of the Young Hoteliers Summit (YHS) Employer Rankings 2019 Key, which is an integral component of the recent YHS in Lausanne.
The rankings drew on a survey completed by over 1,219 participants from more than 285 different hospitality schools across 100 nationalities. It aimed to identify the expectations and preferences of hospitality students in regard to their future workplace.
