Finnish Fafa’s first UK opening coming to Covent Garden

Finnish restaurant Fafa’s with over 40 locations across three countries is set to open its first UK site in London this September in Covent Garden.

Founded in Finland by Tel Aviv-born street food trader Doron Karavani, Fafa’s serves Mediterranean cuisine including freshly filled pitas, salads and meze with everything cooked on-site.

Fafa’s started from a small kiosk in Punavuori, near Helsinki back in 2011, Doron’s food became popular, measured by the people queuing outside. The kiosk still stands today and Fafa’s has expanded across Finland and into Sweden and Estonia.
