We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for ‘Best Temporary Workforce Care’ for the Recruiter’s Investing in Talent Awards 2016. We are currently battling against three other companies to win the title. The awards will be taking place on 5th October at the Brewery in London.
This award recognises the investment in learning and development made by businesses and their commitment to fair treatment, professional development, safety and well-being. It is one of the most fiercely contested categories, and the judging panel looks deeply and thoroughly into each business.
It is great news for Berkeley Scott that we have been recognised for this prestigious award. We are the only hospitality recruiter in any of the categories which further underlines the commitment we make to our temporary workforce and in raising industry standards.
Liam Humphreys, Managing Director for the temporary division speaks with us about the nomination.
How do you feel about being shortlisted? – The news that we have been nominated for ‘Best Temporary Workforce Care’ at The Recruiter’s Investing in Talent Awards 2016 is fantastic and a testament to the hard work our consultants put in on a daily basis. We work hard at ensuring our temporary staff have a personal experience with us, and are treated as individuals rather than just another name on our database.
What sets you apart from other temp recruiters? – It is extremely important to us that we find jobs we know our staff will enjoy, so we spend a lot of time with our workforce to understand what they are like as a person, and understand their skills and expectations to ensure we only find them placements to suit them. We have some amazing temporary workers who have been with us for many years and are a credit to Berkeley Scott. The relationships our consultants have with their candidates sets us apart from the competition and allows us to retain a bank of skilled, motivated candidates.
What do you hope to win for? – Should we be lucky enough to win this award it will be down to the dedication of our consultants ensuring that we treat our temporary workers with the respect their hard work deserves.
