North East resort Rockliffe Hall is set to get a new addition this autumn, with the opening of an on-site Spa Garden facility.
The resort, which includes facilities such as hotel, spa and golf course already, reports that the new project is being managed by Wharton Construction.
When finished, the garden is set to be the only space of its sort within the North East area, and it will span 200 square metres. Construction work will start in January.
"This is a major development for Rockliffe Hall. The Spa Garden will really make the resort the go-to place in the North of England as it is going to be the only one of its kind. The new development will overlook Rockliffe Hall’s magnificent grounds and offer even more luxury within the 365 acre estate," explained Rockliffe Hall spa director, Liz Holmes, on the resort's blog.
A pair of heated outdoor pools are planned for the space, one of which will be a hydrotherapy pool offering an infinity edge experience.
Visitors will be able to enjoy heated decking, a garden room, a sauna and more. They will be able to find the new attraction next to the resort's spa upon completion.
Chairman of Rockliffe Hall, Warwick Brindle, has said on the resort's blog that investment in the new Spa Garden represents the beginning "of an exciting growth phase" for the Hall.
There are significant plans for 2015 as the resort carries on striving to bring more leisure and business visitors to the North East, he added.
Rockliffe Hall is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, whose forthcoming openings this year include Sant Francesc Hotel Singular in Mallorca, the Parisian Hotel Maison Souquet and Phuket Island's Keemala location.
