The Restaurant Group created more than 1,000 jobs last year, according to an announcement detailing its results for 2013.
During that time the Group, which is behind brands like Chiquito and Frankie & Benny's, opened 35 new locations.
Now it wants to create between 36 and 43 new venues this year, growing its current portfolio of more than 440.
The Group's performance was strong last year, as cash flow, revenue and profits were all up by a significant degree.
Current trading is in good shape too, as like for like sales have risen 3.5 per cent and total sales by ten per cent for 2014 so far (up to February 23rd).
All in all, its good news for the many people in hospitality jobs at the group's venues, which also include Garfunkel's and Coast to Coast, among others.
"The Restaurant Group delivered another strong performance in 2013, building further on its consistent record of increasing earnings each year," said pleased chief executive Andrew Page.
"Our like-for-like sales were 3.5% ahead of the previous year, margins increased and all of our businesses grew sales and profits."
He also mentioned that there was a 16 per cent hike in earnings per share, and that more jobs will be created in 2014, with the opening of the Group's planned new restaurants.
Mr Page said last year's results reflected the effort and hard work of theTRG team, thanking them for giving a great performance.
He also said that, given an improving economy, better levels of employment and slipping inflation, prospects are now good for people's household finances getting better.
In turn, this is a positive sign for the sector, with TRG's team set to put in determined work to bring about "profitable progress" again next year, he said.
