With Father's Day coming up on June 15th, people in restaurant jobs across the UK are likely hoping that customers will choose to take their dads out for something to eat on the big day.
PizzaExpress has just announced a Father's Day offer that will doubtless help tempt people into its eateries.
On its official blog, it's advertising a starter, main and desert deal at £13.75. There are three starters, a range of mains and two desserts featured in the deal's set menu.
There's also a gluten-free option, whereby people can order a gluten free main and have a Mixed Side Salad to start.
More and more restaurants have been opting to include specifically gluten-free items on their menus in recent years, and people in hospitality jobs in eateries will be used to fielding questions from customers about whether they serve gluten-free items.
The primary starters in the deal, available to eat-in at Pizza Express restaurants all day on the 15th, are Dough Balls 'PizzaExpress', Garlic Bread or Garlic Bread with Mozzarella.
The two deserts are Coppa Gelato and Chocolate Fudge Cake, while the mains come from the range of salads, pastas, and Leggera and Classic pizzas. Romana and Calabrese pizzas can be included for an extra fee.
Another eatery famed for its pizzas, Pizza Hut, recently announced the return of its The Edge pizza, which comes in four different flavours, all of which have toppings that go right to the pizza's edge, hence its name.
There's plenty of publicity activity around The Edge, including on Twitter.
