A pair of London riverside freehold sites have recently been acquired by Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C.
The pub company and brewer recently gave word that it had finalised the purchase for these two River Thames bankside sites.
The first of the forthcoming pubs is set to open later on this year and is situated in Fulham Reach.
This venue, which will go by the name of The Tideway, forms part of a fresh development and is set to feature a large-scale terrace area allowing customers a vista including Hammersmith Bridge.
Fuller's second venue next to the famous Boat Race Course (the other being Hammersmith's The Dove), The Tideway is set to welcome customers for the first time at some point before Christmas this year.
Meanwhile, the other of the new pubs is set to open during the early part of next year in Greenwich – Fuller's second venue in this area.
This new site, which is to be turned into a venue called The Sail Loft, is near the Cutty Sark and forms an aspect of the New Capital Quay development.
The venue should open its doors during the spring if things go to plan, and treat customers to riverside terraces featuring views of Canary Wharf.
"Combined with the opening of One over the Ait on Kew Bridge, which will open later this year, we will have at least three new riverside pubs along the Thames in the coming financial year," explained Simon Emeny, Fuller's chief executive.
He also noted that, by spring next year, someone taking a boat between Greenwich and Kew would go past six Fuller's pubs on the riverside.
"The Fuller’s acquisitions team has been doing a fantastic job. Combined with The Admiralty on Trafalgar Square, which will open this autumn, London’s Pride at Heathrow T2 in June and One over the Ait, we have five very high profile sites opening this year," he said.
Fuller's will carry on looking for fresh acquisitions in future, he added.
