Banqueting Chef - Lancashire - £26,000-£28,000
A position has become available for a Banqueting Chef in a high end restaurant and function operation.
You will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy banqueting operation under the guidance of the Head Chef. You will work in a stand alone banqueting kitchen with a large function room mostly utilised for weddings up to 200 people. You will be responsible for managing your time and stock levels to deliver high standards on time and in-line with budgets.
You must have experience of large volume cooking for weddings, functions and corporate events. A proven track record of preparing, serving and presenting plated functions, buffets and all other styles of banqueting operation using quality ingredients. You must have a history of working to financial targets, meeting GPs and maintaining high standards of cooking. You must have a stable career and be looking for longevity in your next role.
