We are recruiting a fantastic role for a hotel group which is looking to expand its portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for a very astute and strategic person who has an in-depth knowledge of the hotels sector.

Essential criteria:

• Hotels background is essential with a strong understanding and knowledge of the market place
• You will have solid experience in an area role, either as a Director, Regional Manager
• Strong knowledge of financials is essential, with an ability to analyse financial data and take action to improve cost controls
• Knowledge and experience of new acquisitions and negotiating funding is also key for this role


The role:

• Be able to provide leadership and direction in the development, execution, and measurement of guest service standards within the Hotels, consistent with the company’s core service standards.

• Provide leadership in the development and monitoring of budgets and strategies to produce both short-term and long-term profitability.

• Develop and implement strategic plan and vision for the hotels that is consistent with the Company’s strategic vision.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives at both a property and corporate level.

• Direct the research, development, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure a competitive position in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality environment.

• Work closely with the Directors, Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing to implement necessary rate changes to maximise hotel revenues. Closely monitor occupancy, rates and demand forecasts, making recommendations concerning current and future rates.

• Develop a culture that promotes effective communications, service excellence, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, employee satisfaction and diversity.

• Research and analyse existing data and trends, and take action to reduce costs and increase hotel revenues whenever possible.


Salary & remuneration:
The package for this position is £70k - £90k (negotiable) and will depend on the candidate experience
A bonus package can also be added.
