This stunning gastro country dining inn is located in a lovely countryside position a few miles out of Chester. With an ethos on fresh British dining, and high quality service in restaurant, this really is a great time to be joining the company. The venue is already established and has been extremely popular for many years and now requires a fresh and driven Sous Chef to help push the site onwards and upwards.

My Clients would like to recruit an existing Sous who is doing rosette standard food & can show they can produce fantastic food under pressure. - In any type of establishment, be it hotel or larger restaurant. All produce is locally-sourced, and you really do have some of the best available right on your doorstep. Although the owners take a huge amount of pride in their business and always have done, they are true believer in allowing the talent of the team to shine through.

With a very talented current Head Chef wanting to push the business on, they need to recruit a solid, talented and equally brilliant Sous to help lead the brigade and bring ideas to the kitchen.

You need to have been involved in a kitchen cooking with fully fresh ingredients ideally similar to or at bib gourmand/Rosette level. If you can confidently say that you can handle all sections of this kitchen to this level, are a genuine all-rounder and have an ultimate passion for fresh food you will considered. Equally, if you are a passionate Junior Sous Chef with a similar background but perhaps tick lots of the boxes, we would also love to hear from you!

There is a lot of room to create something special & grow the business here on every level due to the unique opportunity to come on board prior to the sites previous successes. That said this role will be hard work and not for the faint of heart, although stable the site has much more potential, the kind of potential an experienced Sous Chef will be able to pull out. All produce is locally-sourced, and you really do have some of the best available right on your doorstep.

The salary here is in the region of £26,000 plus Tips, but remuneration is less important than finding the right person for the job, you will need your own transport as this is located in the countryside.
