Berkeley Scott are very pleased to be working with this quality hotel operator in the Wilmslow area looking to recruit a new Sous Chef. The Hotel needs a new Sous Chef to help lead the team in this very busy yet high quality kitchen. You will report directly into experienced and talented Head Chef in order to help lead a team to deliver excellence across the board.

Stunning quality, yet relaxed hotel operation is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to help lead the running of their kitchen operation. Serving an array of sumptuous dishes made from meat, vegetables and fruit sourced from the local area is looking to work towards several accolades for its food. In your role as Sous Chef you will have a real passion for food and will really get stuck in to this hands-on role where you will work to ensure service of the highest standard and you are working to the best of your ability to convey the message of 'food passion' to the venues customers.

This beautiful hotel hold lots of weddings and functions so extensive experience in conference and banqueting will be required. However the a la carte dining room is still very busy with locals and residents so a busy and bustling service is a day to day accordance. This is a multi-faceted operation with F&B operations from big events to Rosette fine dining. A quality multi-faceted background including Rosettes and banqueting will be a must in terms of experience to take on this role.

You should be a Chefs Chef having great cooking skills and ideas as well as being able to lead and direct a team under pressure - You should be approachable, able to get on well with and encourage people of all levels at the same time as having the hands on skills in ALL areas of the kitchen.

The food here is top-notch – All fresh and seasonal as far as possible, local without compromising on quality. You will also learn a lot here, as the Head Chef is well-recognised as providing some of the best food in the area.
