My client has created a new role, looking for a General manager to oversee the Catering t the delivery of the hospitality, cleaning and catering operations at this prestigious school in Croydon. The successful candidate must come from a B and I or independent school operational background.

Role purpose:
•To support the delivery of hospitality operations.
•To provide liaison and forward contact point for the contract caterer on day to day day and event operations.
•To support and drive the implementation of the Catering and Hospitality
•To assist or lead the project management of our GA catering improvement plans.

Key Accountabilities:
•Represent your employer at client meetings as required.
•Catering lead on designated events and day to day catering
•Agree and ensure continuous seamless integration with all stakeholders.
•Lead contact on the Catering Agreement and first point of contact for catering operational queries.
•Pre and post event reporting.
•Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet changing priorities.

Essential Skills:
•Strong communicator with developed people management skills.
•Significant experience of senior retail catering and/or hospitality operations in a similar commercial environment.
•Understand in detail catering contracts
•Problem solving with minimum of fuss.
•Understand needs of multi-dimensional stakeholder relationships
