Job Description

The C&E Sales Coordinator is responsible for maximising Meeting & Events (M&E) profitable revenue and guest satisfaction. M&E/Groups enquiries and related rooms reservations, under the direction of the Revenue Manager.

The main responsibilities of the C&E Sales Coordinator include:

• Ensure all sales opportunities and future leads are followed through to fulfil budgeted targets.

• Actively promote and sell the facilities through client show rounds and familiarisation events

• To monitor and record competitor availability in order to make business decisions.
·Is proficient in all M&E departmental procedures to be a resource when needed

·Supports the Sales team and the ROM to generate leads and referral business by analysing current business, Lost/denied business and identifying potential new business through the office

·Delivers a pro-active sales culture within the Office to ensure all budgeted revenues are achieved

·Follows up queries, both internal and external, timely (meets dead-lines)
·Records and processes deposit information or other relevant billing/accounting instructions within the department

·Assisting the Reservations Office Manager in forecasting Meeting & Events business and designing and developing action plans to increase Meeting & Events volume and profitability.

·To be fully aware of budgeted and actual departmental financial targets for the hotel

·Follows up with guests to determine satisfaction; measures results and recommends strategies to improve the quality of the guest experience
