Clients

• To make regular contact with existing & prospective clients in a professional & effective manner, in order to build relationships & ultimately maximise revenue opportunities.
• To ensure that clients are aware of & agree to Terms and Conditions of Business & rates prior to commencing on an assignment, negotiating fees where necessary in line with company policy.
• To visit new clients as targeted & to convert these clients to regular users of
Berkeley Scott for your division & other areas of the business.
• To develop & manage close, long-standing & productive relationships with all decision-making clients within the existing client database to ensure all business opportunities are maximised.
• To obtain a full job brief from clients, clearly outlining actions & timescales required, ensuring these timescales are met on every occasion.
• If applicable, to brief dedicated Consultant on client’s requirements to enable them to gain a clear understanding of the client’s needs, in order to resource more effectively.
• To ensure that the shortlist presented is of the highest calibre possible.
• To fully prepare the client for candidate interviews in a professional & honest manner.
• To debrief & “trial close” the client in line with company policy.
• To maximise the amount of business from each client company, through an innovative approach to account management.
• To spend time in the businesses of key accounts as discussed with Line Manager/ Director.
• To knowledgeably introduce other areas of the Kellan Group to clients, where appropriate.
• To coach, guide, support & motivate team members to improve their personal performance in line with their current training needs.
• To create a positive impact of both Kellan Group and self in every conversation or client meeting.

Candidates

• To screen, interview & reference all Candidates in line with company standard.
• To select suitable vacancies for all Candidates, briefing then accordingly.
• To maintain regular contact with Candidates either face to face or by telephone: giving feedback, dealing with their queries in a timely & professional manner.
• To implement innovative candidate attraction ideas in order to increase the candidate database.
• To prepare candidates for client interviews, in an honest and informed fashion.
• To encourage candidates to represent the company in such a way as to ensure the highest possible credit to the company.
• To debrief and ‘trial close’ the candidate after every interview.
• To promote the temporary division to ensure the candidate remains within the Berkeley Scott Group whilst seeking permanent employment.
• To work with teams in other Offices to ensure Berkeley Scott co-ordinate the permanent database to maximise revenue & profitability.

General

• To develop an effective business development strategy for all relevant sectors.
• Where applicable to liaise with the Marketing department to ensure they are briefed in line with company standard & adverts are produced to the highest standards reflecting a positive company image at all times.
• To manage & control the recruitment process to a satisfactory conclusion every time, exceeding client expectations.
• To plan the day, optimising peak call times.
• To ensure that relevant documentation is fully maintained in line with company policy.
• To complete tasks set by your line manager, in a time manner.
• To follow up on all leads from clients, candidates & colleagues in order to maximise revenue potential.
• To be aware of key competitors within the market place, referring any employee names to the Line Manager/ HR Department in line with the company Introduce a Friend scheme.
• To be familiar with team targets & strive to exceed at all times.
• To co-operate with all divisions of the Berkeley Scott Group, in order to ensure maximum financial benefit to all divisions.
• To attend all relevant sales & other training courses, as required, residential or otherwise, to improve both personal and branch performance.
• To carry out adhoc duties as required by Line Manager. This may involve a temporary transfer to another office within the company.
• To work at all times within the agreed policy and procedure of the company, and within the framework of the Group’s Vision, Mission and Values.
