In most professions the title 'Consultant' is awarded to someone who has trained for years, has an unblemished record and has earned the respect of colleagues and fellow professionals. Too often in recruitment, agencies call their staff 'Consultants' when in reality nothing could be further from the truth. Unfortunately many candidates and businesses have discovered this to their detriment.
Our Consultants are individuals whose reputations are well known, whether that be within recruitment or a professional environment. Even then they must undergo an intense interview procedure, which covers, amongst other things, advanced service levels, recruitment procedures and industry knowledge. We only employ staff who treat candidates and clients with respect, show regard for their time, maintain regular and informative contact and have specific industry experience - only then will we honour them with the title 'Consultant' for our recruitment consultancy.

Managing Director
Mark joined Berkeley Scott in August 2005 to Head up the National Temporary business. Since that time he has broadened his responsibilities by taking control of the permanent recruitment business based out of London before being appointed Managing Director of Berkeley Scott Limited in December 2007.
Prior to joining Berkeley Scott Mark fulfilled a number of senior appointments within IT, sales and marketing and Professional Services recruitment within industry leading brands across a number of sectors, in addition to successfully building and selling his own staffing Consultancy to a listed International recruitment brand in 2001.
Further to his career in recruitment Mark held senior management roles within a privately funded sales management consultancy operating in the software industry.
