Assignment Process - Clients
With over 30 years experience as specialist hotel GM recruiters, John Hunt and Mike Cooper will be delighted to discuss all the potential options with you for an assignment, prior to you making any commitment. Where practical this should be done face to face onsite. Our initial advice will cost you no more than your time. Once we have agreed to commence work on an assignment, we will then prepare a briefing document outlining the key details of the opportunity and the type of individual you are looking to recruit. Once this has been agreed, it will be used to brief prospective candidates and any other parties involved in the recruitment process. BSG will then start the process of identifying suitable candidates. This may include database selection, search, advertising or research networking. A long short-list will be drawn up - clients may wish to be involved at this juncture for brief discussions about prospective candidates. Candidates will be sent the brief; the assignment will then be discussed in detail. Candidates not known to John or Mike will be interviewed. A short list of interviewed candidates, who have been referenced and have expressed keen interest in the position, will be presented to the client. Client interviews will be set up, according to a pre-arranged schedule agreed with the client. 2nd and 3rd interviews and ability or psychometric testing will then be arranged according to the assignment requirements. Final interview format may vary considerably and will be tailor made for each assignment. These will be agreed with the client at the assignment briefing. We would, however, recommend that a part of the final interview allows the candidate time to summarise how they would plan to approach the role in the first 6/12 months and what they see as the key priorities for the business. |
