The successful Thai restaurant and tapas chain Giggling Squid, is set to open 10 more sites by summer 2017.
Starting off in founders’ Andy Laurillard and wife, Pranee tiny little fisherman’s cottage in Brighton, the Giggling Squid has had tremendous success and is on track to be one of the first national Thai chains, with the help of it’s £8m fund from BGF and Barclay’s.
The restaurant already has 15 locations, mostly plotted in the South-East area including Brighton, Guildford, Esher, Sevenoaks and Marlow and is on track to turning that into 25, with the new locations including Bath, Wokingham, Windsor and Brentwood.
The £12m turnover restaurants offer a relaxed dining atmosphere, where you can grab yourself a tapas lunch from £8 or indulge for dinner and have anything from Thai curry to a Chinese inspired seafood griddle plate. They also offer a brilliant and delicious vegetarian and gluten-free menu so there’s no excuse to miss out! Or if you fancy a quiet night in with a great Thai, you can order off their takeaway menu. They have everything covered.
