The New Brighton branch of La Tasca is set to be the location for a special fashion event tonight (July 22nd).
Visitors are going to be welcomed to a charity fashion show with a serving of Sangria, to begin with evening in traditionally Spanish style.
Local Helen Morton Morris has created a Spanish-themed collection for the evening. She has more than two decades' experience designing clothes.
The event is going to be helping the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) and begins at 7pm. A raffle is set to bring in additional money for the charity, and tapas will be served.
"We’re very much looking forward to celebrating the resurgence of the old seaside town, and all things Spanish with the La Tasca New Brighton charity fashion show," commented area business development executive, Donna Davies.
She explained that the evening will see a catwalk going through the eatery, meaning guests will have the chance to enjoy fashion and tapas at the same time.
"Helen’s designs are absolutely fantastic and I’m sure the local community will enjoy her Spanish-influenced collection," she added.
More generally, La Tasca has just announced the launch of a fresh range of Sangria cocktails at the chain.
Operations director James Picton said that there's been a renaissance for Sangria lately, and customer demand is constantly going up.
"As the La Tasca brand is all about having fun, the decision to launch our Sangria cocktail menu to ensure the very best Sangria offering was an easy one," he said.
He added that the brand can't wait to see its terraces and bars full of happy diners sampling the Sangria and enjoying the menu.
The new Sangria range has been made in-house and inspired by visits to the Mediterranean. It is aiming to make people feel like they're taking a trip to Spain.
