DoubleTree by Hilton London – Islington has just become the 10th London area DoubleTree by Hilton hotel.
The 60 Pentonville Road venue has become part of the Hilton Worldwide DoubleTree brand following a refurbishment. It is operating in a franchise agreement with Jurys Inn. The same is true of DoubleTree by Hilton London – Chelsea, another hotel that recently opened its doors.
The Islington property has also provided DoubleTree by Hilton's 10,000th guest room in this continent. It is very close to Angel underground station, and also near Kings Cross St. Pancras.
There are 229 rooms on offer, set to grow to 372 come October 1st. An extension will see 143 new rooms – 43 Executive and 66 Deluxe included – open in its wake.

Meanwhile, Jurys Inn chief executive officer John Brennan explained that: “The DoubleTree by Hilton franchise provides Jurys Inn access to a broad international customer base."
The prime placement of the hotels and Hilton Worldwide's well-known brand "will put us in a strong position to grow revenue as well as continue to deliver stand-out customer service," he said.
